~Scrappy Fall Wreath~
Back in May I posted about the birthday party that I threw for my dear friend Erin. It was a woodsy, outdoorsy, candlelit, dimly lit, and lovely birthday party :) Want to see what I am talking about? {Click here} Did you notice the beautiful swagged scraps of fabric that we hung above the dessert table? I loved that swag so much that I have been moving it from room to room trying to see if I could hang it somewhere in my home. It just does not look good in my house - boo! I decided today, after a very long morning with my cranky kiddos, that Mom needed to craft while the kids went down for a nap. Ahhh, serenity :) I made an iced coffee - and then I made a fall wreath out of the scraps of fabric I just told you about :)
Disclaimer -
This wreath is super simplistic.
It took 20 min to make this and I am sure it could be improved in about a zillion ways.
If you like it, awesome!
If you don't, sorry. I like it, so I win :)
Here is what I used to make my wreath:
3 long strips of fabric (approx 3' long)
12" strips of coordinating fabrics (about 6-8 strips per color)
Wreath
Scissors
I wrapped the long strips of fabric in 3 different spots on the wreath. Then I tied the shorter scraps between the wrapped fabric sections. At the top I left some wood exposed and used the scraps to make a long cord to hang the wreath. Easy! Done! :)
I hope you get inspired to make your own version of a Fall Wreath!

Very cute!
