This has been my day with each of my kids.
I'm thankful that I was the one here to hug and reassure them.
I'm trying to remember that their struggles matter to them and that they look to me to swoop them up and be their comfort and the lifter of their heads.
I pray my kids will always see me as a Mom that cares about what they care about.
For isn't that what the Lord does with me when I am struggling?
I learn so much about God through Mothering my children.
Today, I am reminded of these verses...
Ps 55:22 "Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you;
he will never permit the righteous to be moved."
1 Peter 5:6-7 "Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."
You, my dear, are a good mom, a great friend and an inspiring blogger. Thanks for sharing things that can be easily forgotten. The reminder is always nice.
