I found my Jr High yearbook today while cleaning out the closet.
Here I was in 8th grade...
Memories of Jr High filled my mind and then I was reminded of one of my favorite lunches from my Jr High days. It just so happened that I had the 3 ingredients in my house tonight, so I made it for my husband as a joke...
What is that yumminess you ask?
It's a bagel & cream cheese with crushed Doritos on top!
It's all about the creaminess of the cheese and then the crunch from the Doritos.
The school I went to sold bagels with cream cheese and Doritos in the snack shack and one day I combined them and - pow, bang - deliciousness was created.
Now an adult, I thought I would NEVER eat this again.
Well, never say never :)
We laughed and felt like tweens again while eating this "lunch" :)
Ah.... the likes and preferences of a young teenager. I've eaten Dorritos in a number of unusual ways, but never like that. (and frankly, I"m afraid to try- lol)
