This is the easiest and tastiest party dip I have ever made. I made this for a 4th of July BBQ and it was DELICIOUS!!!!!! I have even added this recipe to my personal collection of go-to recipes.
So, a BIG thank you to Maggie at Hell on Heels Housewife for sharing her AWESOME recipe!!
I added a few spices to my version (we like to kick things up a notch around here). Here is the recipe...
...Cowboy Caviar...
1 can black eyed peas, drained
1 can black beans, drained
1 can white corn, drained
1 large green bell pepper (chopped)
5 roma tomatoes (diced)
1 bunch green onion (chopped)
8 oz. Italian dressing
2 tsp crushed red pepper
1 tsp garlic salt
Mix all ingredients together and refrigerate for an hour to allow all the flavors to mix together. Serve with tortilla chips.
