Super Smoothie


I love this smoothie!
:)

 I have been sick for a week and feel really run down. 
I am really trying to focus on eating well and staying hydrated.
Today I wanted a smoothie that had a LOT of nutrients,
so here is one of the Bishops' Super Smoothies!!...


2 kale leaves (I used red leaf kale today)
1/2 cup blueberries (frozen or fresh)
1 banana
1 pear (seed removed)
1 cup organic plain whole milk yogurt  
1/4 cup apple juice
1 scoop Whey Protein Powder (mine is from Trader Joes)
1-1/2 tbsp honey
2 cups ice

Blend all ingredients (except the ice) in the Vitamix.
When blended, add the ice and blend again.
Makes enough for 3 people!


YUMMY!!!!
Even the boys liked it...
