1.  Favorite color-  

GREEN! 

Anything green. 

Green is such a lively, fresh, crisp, earthy, and embracing color.

2.  Favorite animal- 

Giraffe. I just love them :)

3.  Favorite number- 

is 11! 

My waterpolo number, the number on my first volkswagon bugs gear shift, my birth month, I see the time 11:11 daily and think of my great God!, 11:11 is the time my 2nd child was born (again a total God thing!), and many more #11 stories that time does not permit me to share with you all. 

4.  Favorite Drink- 

Iced coffee - YUM!!!!!

5.  Facebook or Twitter-

6.  Good book or good movie- 

Book! I love to think and to ponder. I love to wander slowly through a meaty book on theology or enjoy skipping through a book on history or ancient cultures. I love reading (I wish I had more time to read but with 3 little ones I don't get too many books completed these days).

7.  My passion- 

People. I have a passion to see the women around me know Jesus and make Him known. I love to blog and have developed great friendships with a couple women. In my "real life", and by that I mean in my day to day non-computer life, I am involved in many women's lives and they are involved in mine, and the friendships & fellowship that we have is so edifying. I value relationships and have a great desire to have genuine friendships and relationships with people. I have seen the verses in Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 work in my life and the lives of my friends..."Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken."

8.  Giving or getting gifts-  

Giving. 

My FAVORITE verse on giving is Proverbs 11:25 "Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered." Isn't that so true!!!!!!!??? When you bless another and pour out love on them, you are, in return, blessed!!!!

9.  Favorite day-  

Fridays through the Summer - my friends and I have weekly playdates for our kids that are SO FUN!

Mondays through the winter - my husband is home on Mondays and we have family days!! :)

10.  Favorite flower- 

Gerbera Daisies - You can't kill them! 

These are the best flowers to give to a new Mommy or someone that is new to gardening. You cannot over-water them. If you under-water them and they start to die, drown them in water and put some miracle grow in there and voila! You have a plant again, and it will bloom again too!!!

I just adore Miss Rachel from I Heart Crafty Things. She was my very first bloggy friend and we have become fast friends through emailing and Facebook!!! Her craft posts are super inspirational and I just love how genuine of a person she is. We wish we were next door neighbors, but thanks to the wonder of the internet, we can be bloggy neighbors :)

Miss Jenn over at Harvesting Dandelions is one of my best friends (in real life!). She has an awesome blog and posts about anything & everything. I am always encouraged in my walk with the Lord by her reflections on God and her heart for reaching out to others with the Love of Jesus. I know you'll be blessed by her blog.

The Linen House

Miss Kristin is another one of my real-life friends. She has a blog called The Linen House, and let me just say, I love her blog posts! First off, she has an eye for beautiful things and God blessed her with the talent to capture that beauty with her camera and communicate about it through words. I am always challenged and inspired to eat more healthily, try my hand at gardening, and just see the beauty hidden in a thrift store. My friend Barbara at Chase the Star is a furniture re-maker, crafter, DIY'er, and up-cycling master! She has an amazing ability to look at something and see hidden in it the true potential...and she can bring that potential about with the help of some spray paint, sandpaper. and perhaps also an iced latte from Starbucks. I just adore her - and her blog is great too! :)

Garage Sales R Us

My bloggy friend Robin over at Garage Sales R Us is TOTALLY responsible for my current garage saleing kick! I have been loading up my 3 kiddos and hitting all the Saturday morning garage sales for the past few weeks. Not only does she garage sale, but she also has tutorials on painting furniture, reupholstering dining chairs, distressing wood, and MUCH MORE! I personally love her Fashion on a Dime series. Ok, I fell in love with Gen's blog instantly - after reading her "about me". Here's what she writes...

Miss Tori's craft site is one of my Faves!!!!! I just adore her sweet heart and apparent genuineness. I am always pinning her projects in hopes that I would be able to complete one myself. She is an inspiration and I hope to give her some much needed recognition! Now, go show her some love!!
