One of our favorite dinners is Chicken Stroganoff.
With 3 little kids always needing me,
I just don't have time to make my original version as often as we'd like.
My original version takes a long time and everything is made from scratch...not easy to do with little ones!
So, I was forced motivated to create a crockpot version.
I made this last night and my husband LOVED it
and even asked for seconds!!
So, since it was a hit in my hubbys book,
I thought I would share the recipe with ya'll :)
~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Crockpot Chicken Stroganoff
3 frozen chicken breasts (boneless & skinless)
1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
1 can chicken broth
1 cup water
1 tbsp Knorr chicken bouillon granules
8oz container sour cream
1 pkg wide egg noodles
Place all the above ingredients into your crockpot
(except the sour cream & noodles)
and cook on high for 4hrs.
When the crockpot goes off, set to warm.
Remove the chicken breasts onto a cutting board.
Stir the sour cream into the broth that is remaining in the crockpot.
Cut up the chicken and stir it into the sour cream mixture. Let this mixture sit while you prepare the noodles. The sauce will start to thicken slightly (the longer you let it sit, the thicker it will get).
Boil a large pot of water and cook a whole bag of egg noodles until soft.
Drain and then stir the noodles into the sour cream chicken mixture in the crockpot.
Ta-da!
This was a super easy crockpot meal & oh so delicious!
If you have any questions on my recipe,
leave me a comment! I'm here to help.
Also, if you make this, I'd love to hear how yours turned out :)
Blessings!

This looks amazing! I am not sure what you are talking about when you say it is not homemade...anything that is "put together" in my house is totally considered homemade!! Making your own noodles is for those with too much time on their hands. Can't wait to try it!
